Collective Worship
At Quernmore School we are
'Rooted and grounded in love'
Ephesians 3:17
As a Church of England Primary School we see our Collective Worship as being at the heart of our school life and an expression of our distinctive Christian ethos. Our school’s mission statement states that we provide a school community with Christian values and attitudes at the heart of what we do. At Quernmore Primary School we aim to show that we are ‘rooted and grounded in love’ through our words and actions.
Our core values were chosen through consultation with parents, children, staff and governors of the school. These are love, peace and compassion.
We have a two year cycle of Christian values which reflect our core values. The value of love shines through every value which we teach.

We worship at school every day through either whole school or class worship. We welcome Reverend Cindy to school every week and also have other visitors in school. Children lead worship once a week; they choose a theme and this is linked to one of our Christian values.
