Quernmore C.E (VC) Primary School

Governors

We are proud to have a dedicated team of governors who work tirelessly to support our school community. Our governors play a crucial role in ensuring that our school maintains its high standards of education and provides a safe, nurturing environment for your children.

Our governing body consists of individuals who bring a wealth of experience and expertise from various fields. They bring a diverse range of skills to the table, including education, finance, and community engagement. Together, they collaborate with our school leadership team to make important decisions that drive the school's vision and ethos.

The Curriculum Committee is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the high standards and quality of education provided to your children.

The committee is focused on continuously improving and evaluating the educational programs offered to your child. We strive to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth.

The Resources Committee is responsible for ensuring that the budgeting and financial decisions that impact your child's education are well managed.  It is dedicated to ensuring transparency and accountability in all financial matters related to the school.  We believe in the importance of open communication and scrutiny when it comes to managing the school's finances.

As a school we recognise that a diversity of thought, voices and perspectives is essential to good governance and the effective running of any organisation. Our governors have a wide range of diversity in terms of age, gender, and ethnicity which ensures that our policies and practices reflect the needs of our diverse community.
