Dewlay Cheesemakers, April 2015 (29 images)
We visited Dewlay in Garstang to see what happens to Mr. Bolland's milk after it leaves the farm. We looked down into the factory to see how cheese is made. We made some cheese of our own, using milk, culture, rennet and salt. We tasted lots of different cheeses too. Yum yum!

A Day at Grange, March 2015 (34 images)
Class 1 had a fantastic day finding out about trains. We had a tour of Lancaster Station before buying our tickets and catching the train to Grange Over Sands. The guard checked our tickets and we saw lots from the train windows. We liked crossing the estuary on the long bridge! We walked along the promenade at Grange and looked back across the bay to Quernmore. We had lots of fun at the train playground and ate our lunch in the sunshine. On the way home, we got off the train at Carnforth Station to go into the Visitor Centre. We met Mr. Adams and learnt about steam trains. The ice creams were delicious!
